My Birth Doula Service includes:

  • two pre-birth meetings with you and your partner

  • my being on-call from 2 weeks prior to the baby’s expected arrival until the birth

  • my being with you throughout birthing

  • one post natal meeting 







 





  Our pre-birth meetings



During your pregnancy you, your birthing partner
(if you wish) and I meet at your home to discuss
your preferences, worries, expectations and
desires relating to the birth of your new child.
At each visit, we will meet for about two hours,
allowing us the time to cover all your needs in 
depth.  I can provide up to date local information
to help you prepare your Birth Plan and offer a 
range of books and publications which may help 
inform your choices.



  At the Birth



I will clear my calendar and be on-call for you 
24 hours a day from 38 weeks until the baby is 
born.  As soon as you are ready, I will 
accompany you throughout the birthing process,
whether you choose to birth at home or in hospital.



  After the Birth

We will meet once more at your home after your baby,
is born.This is an important time for a new mother 
to re-cap on her amazing achievement and to 
re-enforce bonding and breastfeeding.




During and after your pregnancy I can also offer
Reiki and the Bowen Technique as remedial
and/or relaxation therapies for you, your
partner and your baby.
