Hi, I’m Tulsi (she/her) & I am MamaDoula.

I live in Coulsdon, Surrey and work with clients throughout Surrey and parts of Greater London, Sussex and Kent.

I use my extensive training and knowledge to guide you through your antenatal, birth and postnatal journey.

I will arm you with the knowledge and techniques you need to achieve the birth of your choice. My support will enable you to trust your body and instincts so you can birth with innate confidence. Whether you prefer a home or hospital birth, a vaginal or abdominal birth, no interventions or all of them, I will respect your individual choices and ensure you are heard.

Knowledge is power. Insightful antenatal learning, combined with a supported birth experience, will create a strong and positive foundation for your journey into parenthood.

In the 4th trimester, I can aid your postnatal recovery by assisting with infant feeding, providing nourishing meals and enabling you to rest and recuperate.

Throughout school and working life I have proudly carried the “mummy” label and am lovingly called “Mummy Patel” by many. This was my inspiration for the name MamaDoula.

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by birth. After being blessed with two spirited and playful girls, my inner birth nerd was inspired to break free. I took the plunge and trained with Alex at The Original Birth Connection and am now more empowered than ever to support birthing people.

When I’m not Doula-ing, I am proud mum, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

MamaDoula xx
